Who is this Medical Management Certification for?

The RMM certification was designed to increase and test the knowledge of individuals who hold or will hold medical management and leadership positions in a medical practice. It is incredibly popular amongst medical coders and billers, practice managers, business office administration staff, and medical office staff members. Because the training and certification exam is administered completely online with full instructor support, it is an ideal certification for those with a busy schedule.

Our medical management certification program is designed to give new managers insight into several different areas that they will encounter as a medical office manager.  Each chapter that you watch the videos, read and test on is designed to give you a snapshot of what you will see and hear in a medical office setting.  We will provide examples, an array of forms, letters and websites that you will use for many years to come.

About the Instructor

My name is Liz Stefanoni and I will be your “go to person” during the course of your training.  I have been in the medical field for right at 25 years and have worn many hats during my time.  Like many of you, I started out in one area of the medical office and have made my way to other areas during my time.  I was a CPC for many years and finally moved into management about 16 years ago.  I currently manage a gastroenterology office where I have 9 physicians, 7 NP’s and a staff of 61 employees.  I was recently asked by the Medical Management Institute if I would go through the course again and update the information with the latest data.  What a great refresher this was even for someone that has been in the business for 25 years.

My goal is that you will use the information in this course as a springboard for your career and you will use me for any questions that you have during your course.  I wish you as much success as I have had in my 25 years!

Instructor support is available throughout the training via email at [email protected].
